Characters：Calcium alginate is a water-insoluble, gelatinous, cream 
coloured substance that can be created 
through the addition of aqueous calcium chloride to aqueous sodium 
alginate. 

Use：As a gel agent, it can form a thermal irreversible gel, and can 
be applied to various kinds of bionic foods, meat products, and 
embedding of drugs in pharmaceuticals. Calcium alginate can be used 
in pharmaceutical to produce the hemostatic gauze.For industrial grade, 
calcium alginate can be used for  welding rod coating. It is featured with 
fine particle size and low salt, that makes it one of the indispensable 
ingredients for high-end electrodes.
